Self organising one's life... to BE 'spent'.

We're only one week into the lessons and there's been a shift in realising what's important. To be 'spent'. I want to be spent, spent on all the things that matter to me.

To fully get a sense of what I’m meaning, we need to go back a bit, into the Landmark Education days. When I first ‘did’ the (Landmark)Forum in 1996, it was all about ontology, the study of BEing. Later in 2000, when I was on staff, there was a massive change within the organisation, one could say - a transformation, which then became the context - I’m still working out, is the context decisive??

5 big LEC2020 events were hosted in different cities around the world, Melbourne was one of them, a place for ALL graduates in the Southern Hemisphere to connect and attend if they wanted, or HAD TO. Attending was made compulsory for all staff (counted as our staff training for the year) who wanted to continue being paid as a staff person. With super-glue-strength conviction the Manager of each Centre (aka the Centre Manager) strongly recommended that everybody involved in the ‘voluntary’ leader body also attend - at their own cost - or face the consequences.
