Have a towel or a cushion ready in case you need it, AND, if this proves too challenging for your neck you may want to explore the same lesson on a couch so that your torso is supported.

Novelty.

If you ever get to feel all the bones of a skeleton you’ll see how round they are. The ends of the long bones have knobs, soft and smooth that fit into other grooves that are also rounded. Even the long bones are rounded if you hold them like a stick.

AI makes this look kind of flat!

The pelvis is called a bowl due to the rounded edges and the way it rolls right left, forward and backward. I love thinking of my sitting bones at the base of the pelvis as little rocking chairs that can roll me forward and backward… I’ve noticed how a client with dementia does this to soothe her self when she’s a little stressed, babies and toddlers also do that.

These shapes are conducive to the rolling motion that assist us get up, come down on to surfaces… well, they’re supposed to anyway!
