Awareness Through Movement lesson #22

One of the main primal functions that gets lost with humans is the ability to get up from the floor to standing, with so many people sitting in chairs it’s rare for the butt to come down lower than the knees. Moshe came up with weird and wonderful ways to come up to standing, most probably through his judo training. He had an extensive history with martial arts and the japanese culture, once other judo experts tested and learned of his unique move to disarm somebody with a knife, the word spread around the world and many wanted to meet him.

Self defense, to defend ones self in the event danger presents its self, and to do so in a way that causes the least harm to anyone… it does require being able to get up from the ground quickly with agility. If we don’t have that ability, how can we defend our Self??

Through words? Responses? ReAction?

There’s got to be a Self to defend.

Some lessons raise questions, this is one of them, and I could hear yours as I prepared it!!
