You could say that by applying these lessons to our lives we’ve been adding to our non-linear learning toolkit.
We’ve explored:
the power of moving super slowly, and the changes this way offers.
the power of the imagination, and how our thinking moves and shapes us
differentiating, identifying how different bones slide, turn, twist in relation to other bones
how the breath can assist us with our movements
what difference involving our eyes can make
shifting our attitude to “failure”, not having to get it right (all the time)
I’m sure you can think of more.
Now we start bringing these tools, tricks, learnings together to build a foundation… for developing an ability to be AWARE of what we’re doing as we’re doing it. Some call it developing an ability to be present, to the present moment.
And then we can start adding more tools to our kit. There’s a whole lot more to come once these foundations become more familiar.
