Awareness Through Movement #74

Hi everyone, we’re back to normal tonight with a live stream for learning about counter balance. Lessons like this are what kept me super curious about my body.. how is it possible to do these movements slowly without momentum taking over… I always wondered to myself. Now that I have a little better access to “controlling” the way my body moves, perhaps better said is now that I have more of a say in how my body moves because I’m more connected with it, I love the experimenting with the weight.

Sometimes I feel like one of those bottles that are weighted at the bottom and they keep bouncing back upright, and others I feel like I’m filled with water and can shift my weight depending on where the water is - always at the bottom regardless of where my head is. It always wants to be involved!!!
