Tonight we’re doing the part where we rock and roll through the diagonals from right arm to left leg and right leg to left arm, we’ll be breaking it down in to bit sized pieces to see how we can make these movements more efficient, more enjoyable.

Our Three Rotational Muscle Systems
we often think of muscles as separate from each other, when they are attached to each other in lines throughout the system. Fascia binds us together.

It’s an important movement, the way we move through the diagonal reveals habits and patterns that might be making us uncomfortable. Done slowly we can intercept the trajectory on a very slight angle and feel how that alters the path. Sometimes different muscles participate, they wake from their slumber ready to assist and thankful that they’re finally being used in a different way.

When this happens, I’m convinced their enthusiasm can be felt through the whole system.

It looks like other methods are catching up:

More and more people are starting to get the connection between right and left, upper and lower to have movements be a whole body experience, because it feels so good, the body doesn’t lie - or does it?
