*please have two small towels or cushion nearby for this lesson
We have done something similar already in this series, lesson #2 we explored ways to distribute weight forward as we lay on the stomach and lifted the legs. The difference with this version is the use of the eyes - so we can feel how much of a difference their inclusion makes.
Megan’s breaking the first section of the lesson down and she will introduce the use of a prop so that we can feel that effect, and perhaps use such a prop in the future if wanted.
These lessons are all about choice as each person comes to the realisation that although, yes, we as humans BEing have similar structures, the lengths, shapes and use of our bodies is unique, as is the person who lives in them.
Our systems are like fingerprints.
As we work our way through these movements it is up to each of us to find our own path, which even though it might look similar to the person next to us, underneath a magnifying glass it will be very different.
Please, be gentle with your self and patient with the process of unlearning as we all learn how to learn.
