“Feel into the face let go of the mouth as if to say to yourself,
“if it is not so good, what does it really matter?
I'll die anyhow.… all of life is preparing to die.
It is important how you live, not that you live more,
not life by itself, but how you live.

For some people it is so difficult to open the legs to the sides
so they always hold both feet together.
Now, the problem is control and a feeling of choice.

This is the main thing of life…
doing it like this and like that so that you know
what is more comfortable for oneself,
to organize life so it is more comfortable for oneself.”

Communicating Fast and Slow

We do a few unusual movements in this lesson, playing with timing, pressing, releasing, bending, lifting… to feel and sense the connections though our whole system. You could call it a “classic” Feldenkrais lesson… I know of very few other practices that have such a profound shift in BEingness from such simplicity.
