Awareness Through Movement #511

“This lesson focuses on small, deliberate movements, encouraging people to
"sense into the timing" and move "slowly, gently"
to develop an awareness of how our systems connect and interact.”

A very flexible pug doing the splits. - RealFunny

The theory being that by moving slowly and integrating this way of moving consciously, our systems are more likely to opt for what is learned during the process…

therefore the learning is more likely to become more of a habit
than the painful way of forcing an outcome.

“This contrasts with many traditional training methods for the splits,
which often prioritize end-range stretching or pushing people into deep positions quickly, sometimes without attention to how the body feels during the process”.

Enjoy learning more about, with and for your self through this lesson…
with feeling.
