Have your phone ready to record the before and after differences for this lesson, we will be counting to 10 a few times at the start and at the end to hear what changes this lesson makes.

Inside the ear
there will be mention of the Eustachian tube, this is its location.

So this week we will be exploring sound the Feldenkrais way, navigating our attention to different areas and pitches… as we recite a short version of the first paragraph from Genesis of the King James Bible. The only reason I can think Moshe chose this particular verse was to illustrate Omnism, to cut through the power of beliefs so that we can relate from a solid foundation, our common ground as humans, being.

Religion aside, what I love about this particular one is how Moshe seemed to get in to every cavity to learn and then teach humans how to function to our full capacity, like a laboratory experiment. Who even thinks of the inside of the mouth, ears, throat… as a movement lesson?

David Kaetz made a guest appearance at the Feldenkrais training in Melbourne, when we explored sound, and I remember hearing the trains behind the Box Hill Town Hall for the first time. As we all lay on the ground and practiced listening, the sounds around seemed to come to life, it was a beautiful experience. Suggestion, sit for a moment and listen to the sounds of your environment before the lesson so that you can feel the differences at the end.

You might like to have some tissues nearby, and let people in your home environment know there could be strange noises coming out of your room.
