Marianne writes us:
”This lesson begins and continues in what at first seemed a rather unfamiliar starting position. I would describe it as on hands and knees with one leg out to the side..
and from there gently shifting positions,
towards sitting.
At times we will be flexing the toes under the front of the foot, as if for running,
and other times with the top surface of the foot on the floor
so that the toenails rest on the ground.
As with all Feldenkrais lessons,
the more you can organize yourself
to find where is truly comfortable and easy,
the more you will benefit.
Its quite possible, at different times in your life
you may have experienced yourself exploring similar positions
and movements like those that Moshe offers us tonight.
As you feel your way through tonight’s lesson…
maybe you will get a glimpse of how Moshe
was inspired by human developmental movements
and arrived with these unusual ways for us to explore
our
selves.”
from Canada with love,
Marianne.
