four five six… as we count down the manuals - this and then one more!
I invite us all to think through our learnings along the way - being gentle with our selves as we explore how this thing we live in is connected, and how all these connections feed through each other - AS WE MOVE.
Quite the accomplishment, regardless of where you think you are.. my guess is there have been many a-ha moments along the way as the jigsaw comes together. Although it could seem like these lessons have been a huge investment in time and energy, it’s right about now that we get to dig in to our tool belts and put in to practice what we’ve learned.
Moving slowly, taking the time to slowly sense in to how when we lift one area, a different place lowers - in some realms this is called physics.. which can feel really weird when we ARE the objects we’re examining.
Disrupting that old paradigm of “it must hurt to be good”, or more commonly known as “no pain no gain”, unlearning can be one of the most challenging parts of learning to be our unique, individual selves - quirks and all.
We’ve been swimming against the grain, which yeah, can be tiring… yet we’re very close to entering a whole new pool of movements… where we determine which waves to swim with.
Tonight’s lesson is exploring the kinetic chain (again), in different positions… to get a stronger sense of the whole self rather than all these different parts of self we’ve been told are true. Perhaps these movements will open up the space to explore how we are one system, this environment we live in is greater than all the parts….
we are a fraction of the whole.
Maybe,
perhaps,
it might be possible that these nano micro-trans-actions
we’ve been exploring
can give us a taste of how each and every one of our movements
shape the entire world.
Maybe.
Enjoy learning more about your “Self”,
and how we all fit into this mega jigsaw puzzle called “life” :)
