Tonight’s lesson is with Deborah Bowes who has chosen the pelvic floor as her “specialty” for Feldenkrais. Whenever practitioners talk about this area of the body, Deborah’s name crops up, she brings her wealth of knowledge with her many years experience as a Feldenkrais practioner.

In this particular YouTube clip, she goes into a lot of detail about the importance of caring for an area of the body that has been ‘taboo’, yet now, thankfully more people are willing to acknowledge as a place that can hold an enormous amount of tension.

Although these may be movements you’ve done many times before, it can be beneficial to hear the same thing from somebody new (if you haven’t heard Deborah before)…. and it could be that ‘you’ are so different these same movements could be a totally fresh experience.
