If you did last night’s lesson you’ll notice we didn’t actually go further with the lesson, instead we went deeper… into the quadrant.

This software doesn’t let me tilt the pelvis back unfortunately… or better said, I’ve not yet worked out how to move the unmovable (there’s always a way!)… until then this imagery will have to suffice as a visual for some of the movements we’ll be doing tonight.

We’re exploring how the spine moves in this part of the small Indian Sitting series… and as you can see, there’s quite a bit of space made through the lumbar spine as the back arches and rounds at the front while at the same time, those hedge-hoggy looking) spikey parts, the spinous processes come closer together.

Imagine that happening within your self as you listen to the guidance tonight.

“Lumbar” refers to the lower back region of the spine, comprising five large vertebrae (L1-L5) that provide support for the upper body, protect the spinal cord, and enable movement.
