Today, we’re going to explore a gentle way of moving that helps us rediscover how our body can integrate functionality for ordinary, every day tasks.
You’ll be invited to listen to yourself as you move and as you rest,
to develop your ability to tap in to YOUR natural rhythm.
beCause… every BODY is different.
My participation in these recordings, has me be able to see people softening into movement, being the driver of their Selves in motion. It’s delightful to witness people taking rests as and when required before returning to the movement, then getting back on the court and giving the movements a go from a different state…. notably, looking at you Vita - I see and sense GREAT changes in how you move as a result of these regular lessons. PURE INSPIRATION!!!
As I work with Grok to more clearly define where I’m coming from with this method, grounding keeps coming to the surface…
in previous discussions after the lessons we’ve spoken about how this Method is an excellent practice for bone density, by keeping all of the bones connected with the earth, not merely through the feet. We talked about how pressing the skeletal system IN to the earth is a way to keep this living system active. Activity encourages the production of calcium, which assists with blood flow and invites all of the other systems to pull their weight to work as one. We become more grounded in our approach to movement, to take the same principles as we move through live.
And then there’s the ontological benefits that Grok keeps bringing to our attention… the philosophical undertones of these movements to assist us comprehend WHO we are in motion…
curious,
* B O L D *
meek,
daring,
afraid,
forceful,
gentle,
appreciative…
all the adjectives,
they apply to the way we move through the bigger picture.
What if…
the bottom line…
is how we relate to the ground?
It gives us an access to feel more present,
in the present moment,
which in turn, allows us to feel into, to sense
more of our Selves…
…. the good, the bad, and the ugly…
in every living moment.
In my world, this way of being will transform the planet!!
On movement at a time :)
