On one post last week I mentioned there was a lesson I’ve been dreading - this is it. When I practiced with Marianne a few weeks ago she said something about it looking like I was struggling - yeah - just a bit!!! My legs were numb by the end, and when I got up to stand they felt so light like feathers, it was a beautiful feeling to walk after.

When I first learned that the structure of the arms and legs were VERY similar I couldn’t help but wonder what it would be like to be able to use my legs like I do my arms. I’ve been practicing (in my imagination climbing trees, feeding my self with my feet, using my toes to type these blogs) moving my feet around a lot more lately and it seems that I have a little bit more movement in my pelvis… I’ve definitely been walking with more of a swagger in my step :)

if you can see the similarities, then slide your hand along the other arm and a leg to feel the similarities.

Tonight’s lesson is delivered by Marianne, when we ‘studied’ this lesson 3 weeks ago, she created a little video to explain about an acupuncture point - more of which will be mentioned in the mini lessons tomorrow, Wednesday and Thursday.

This week we’ll explore different ways to have yoga’s ‘lotus’ sitting be a little easier.. if you’d like to enjoy these benefits:

If you’re willing, game, keen, it might be worth taking a video of your self doing this lesson and then coming back after the small series to see if anything has changed.
