As you can see by the title, we continue with Mouse Tracking movements in extension - am I alone in feeling these movements in my spine the following day? After doing Tuesday’s lesson with Megan and discovering a connection in my pelvis, I moved differently the following day at the gym.. it was like I could settle more in to the hip joint, which felt lovely!
There are many benefits in these looking up to the ceiling lessons, we’re training our brains, nervous systems and eyes to work in harmony.. hence that feeling of coming ‘home’ after a lesson. When our systems are aligned there is a way of being that is aligned with our potential, we are ready to move in any direction quickly.. and that is a strong indicator for being VITAL.
Last night it was asked of us to feel in to what happens with the change of focus, from one eye to the other. Keeping the gaze on Cheeky Mouse causes internal changes within as the human body adapts to ‘see’ different planes. This integrates the visual and vestibular systems as the eyes and inner ear connect to work more efficiently together, as a team.
There’s a lot going on with these movements so please, take your time, there really is no need to push or force anything, it’s way more valuable to move slowly and sense in to what is happening, as it happens.
It might assist you to have this image in mind as we explore the ceiling again tonight!
