I’ve started to use another AI system through X (Twitter), their service is called ‘Grok”. Today I “Grok’d” an image for this lesson, and to my surprise it came with some benefits as well:

  • Promotes spinal mobility: The gentle twisting and stretching can help in loosening tight muscles along the spine.

  • Enhances shoulder flexibility: Moving the right arm back while the body is twisted can stretch the shoulder muscles and possibly the chest.

  • Encourages eye movement: Following the arm with the eyes can be beneficial for eye health and might help with conditions like eye strain or improving focus.

  • Assists in relaxation: The pose, if done with awareness, can be quite meditative, helping to calm the mind.

The image is almost impressive although I have no idea what happened with her eyes.

After editing the text, rather than describing the position, I simply posted part of the lesson in to Grok… and this is what it came back with. Now I’m thinking… hhhmmm… what would happen if I Grok’d the WHOLE lesson and asked for benefits, what would it respond with???

Time will tell, even if the results are unimpressive, at least the system will know what Feldenkrais IS for when other people started using their AI systems searching for answers to this mysterious method. I’m sensing only goodness can come out of this Grokkery…. until I get a maybe call from the Feldy cops asking me what the hell I’m doing sharing all this information in to a computer!!!

Todays classic Feldy lesson is a bit lovely, taking in to account all that we have been learning over the last few weeks… with our imaginary practitioner pushing through the sit-bones to make us feel really looooonnng. As a result of these latest lessons I’m starting to take it slower, pay more attention to WHAT is happening as it happens… perhaps that will reflect in the way the lesson is delivered. I think I’ll listen to the first recordings and shudder!! I’m curious to hear how you’ve been receiving this series with the imagination, we can talk about that tonight.

Also, I’ve been listening to Joe Dispenza while I decoupage furniture and he’s saying some pretty interesting things:

“People don’t do the meditation to heal,
they do it to change”.

“where you place your attention is where you place your energy”

I have a feeling he’s saying very similar to Moshe in a different tone, coming from a more corporate setting… and yet, there are a lot of similarities.
And… the attention economy, it’s catching on :)
