“Pay attention to those places where it the image shortens
and to those places where it becomes shorter than while lying.
In those places, the control of the person, within himself, is faulty.
He is not able to correct it — to inhibit the will to straighten,
to be better than he is.
Do it to the degree that you are able to listen to this fundamental image.
This movement improves to the degree that this image
is complete during the movement.

The movement improves more quickly whenever you do less and think more.

Most people do not know why something hurts them,
why something is not okay.
You might see, if you are checking for good quality,
that the vast majority does not know how to lift the arm and the leg.
Yet, if I tell them to lift the arm and leg with power to do a crude movement, everybody does it.
Under these conditions the body is destroyed
because it does efforts that are completely dis-organised,
completely without any connection to the structure of the body.
This destroys the joints and the spine.”
