Opposition, continued - on the knees (this time) - DEVELOPING AWARENESS

As you can see, tonight’s lesson is a continuation of yesterday’s… on the knees so please have a blanket, towel or pillow to kneel on if you have any issues with kneeling.
There is not as much talking tonight as there was in yesterday’s lesson, instead we have a lot more movement as we enquire into oppositional movements… which we’ve been exploring to date with the “what’s pressing, what’s lifting” questions thus far.
The Mind Body Studies training was quite strong with this aspect of the Feldenkrais Method… and given that Mia, Leora and Moshe had many conversations unravelling how best to teach people this way of learning, in my experience, bringing my attention to this question has made a huge difference in the way I move - not only IN the lesson, also in my daily life - particularly nowadays with mainstream media headlines which seem to be causing a lot of conflict through the subject of opposition.
Perhaps, if you’re not already intrigued by the question, these particular lessons will raise more curiosity around the subject.
