As you can see, the emphasis of this lesson is on the word “standing”, in this instance when you’re lying on the floor and asked to bend the knees and STAND the feet.

The aim is to have this distinction become a little clearer, for when the weight is evenly distributed over the foot and the knee ‘stands’ directly over the whole foot, THEN a triangle is formed. Triangles are one of the strongest structures reliably placed in architecture of building, particularly pyramids.

Triangles: The Strongest Shape
on close inspection it can be seen that the Tower which is Eiffel in nature is built from a series of triangles, within the gigantic triangle… which accounts for one of the reasons it’s still standing.

Although briefly mentioned in the Australian Feldenkrais training, there was more emphasis in the MindBodyStudies “translation” of what Moshe was communicating in his Feldenkrais training.

IF we are constructed from a series of shapes, circles, squares, arcs and yes, tri-angles, I invite you to explore your Self to locate these shapes and perhaps realise that the simple triangle is everywhere.

Sometimes the same information illustrated in different ways has that information make more sense, so I am including a few different ways to describe something similar.

As we are learning, Every Body is different.

Computing is causing people to explore all the ways these shapes create an image, and in 3D, a moving object. It’s no surprise that every single image is made from, or moves through circles, squares and yes, TRIangles are the most common element in all of the shapes.

Perhaps this information will alter your experience of this lesson, and maybe it won’t. Either way, enjoy learning more about your Self, how you move through space and the effect YOU have on your environment.

Here’s the lesson:
