Awareness Through Movement #300
In standing, turning the heels outside – SENSING THROUGH EXPLORATION
“If we wanted to improve the standing on one leg — as much as the person does not pay attention to himself and does not listen so as to know what he is doing — it is not effective if you tell him a hundred thousand times because he doesn’t pay attention.
If he doesn’t pay attention to these things, if he doesn’t pay attention not to stand on the toes, if he doesn’t pay attention that he does not stand the whole foot all at once — he does a hundred thousand hours of exercise and it stays the same.
And so, I am pointing it out to you here and there, that almost every personal mistake stays without attention.
This is work without an end because people want to stand,
to increase the movement.
If you say “increase” they make a movement so as to increase,
as if that is the important thing.
The important thing is that it is better one time.”
