In this part of the walking (very mini) series Moshe provides some explanation as to why these lessons are so important:
“The balance of most people is quite bad.
They just do not observe this
because they do it quickly.
When movement is done quickly, it is possible to cover the mistakes
because you are working with the inertia of the body.
It is only when you do it very slowly,
slowly that it becomes possible to distinguish that it is possible
to learn how to improve this quite a bit.”
and,
“The human body, namely the nervous system,
is built such that it allows the head
to deal with what is necessary when it looks,
listens,
smells
or speaks.
The back of the legs, the hips, the spine…
they do everything that is necessary so the head
can pay attention to what it senses in the senses.
In a good body,
the head does not move.
It moves to the degree that is necessary for both eyes to see the same thing,
and not more”.
OH… AND GUESS WHAT…
streamers, balloons, and chink chink the champagne glasses,
WE ARE HALF WAY THROUGH ALL THE MANUALS :)))
