If you’re ever wanting an hour long meditation in motion, this could be the lesson for you. It’s the place to explore your inner space cadet :)
Today we have the lesson I thought we were doing yesterday which means we get include diagonals and timing with the eyeballs.

The invitation is to think of the deep diagonals, from the back of the eyeballs right through to the opposite side at base of the skull… the base of the neck, the shoulders, the ribs, the pelvis, the knee, the ankle and to the little toe… for this is how our fascia connects - the WHOLE way through our bodies.
You will hear Moshe speak of the spine, when he talks of moving the eyeballs. During our scan if you like, you will be able to sense into this connection, it’s very subtle, and at the same time quite powerful. These often neglected inner fascial, or perhaps you prefer to think elastic lines can really give clue to how the WHOLE SYSTEM is connected, it lives as ONE, despite our conscious awareness.
Here is a visual that might assist you when you hear the word ‘timing’:
These lessons can make clearer that sense of ‘order’ vs ‘chaos’ - when we remember, or are reminded to bring our ability to differentiate our Selves during movement. Tonight, if you like you can explore both, to become more familiarised with what this thing called chaos brings to our movements. And then, compare that chaos with order, or in Feldenkrais terms, organisation… to then know what it is that drives us at any particular time. From what I comprehend of these lessons, his words, the people who are carrying forward his Method… this is a key part of what Moshe explains in the Body and Mature behaviour. One of his intentions is for people to become more familiar with when we act from the chaos of a child or the maturity of an adult.
Then, we have choice.
If you like, take these words as another invitation… to use this lesson as a space for exploring those differences… Moshe provides us with a few clues for the HOW.
