Moshe gives us a few tips/reminders in tonight’s lesson:

“This is the big difficulty for all the people for whom it bothers to go down on one foot — the absence of flexibility in the ankle..”

Reminders that we ‘live’ in a whole system and this world we live in seems to compartmentalise us/our bodies into completely different segments that don’t ever connect.

We have bone doctors, heart surgeons, blood specialists, brain surgeons, foot doctors and the list goes on…. yet they very rarely connect with each other to treat humans as a whole… in the end, some of us are left wondering… witch doctors… to believe??

confusion is a beautiful thing… that’s when the brain starts to differentiate to sort through the muck. And as these lessons have been teaching us, appreciating the differences has us be more accepting of the unknown.

When in this lesson Moshe states “A leg that goes well and lifts well has a big toe that bends and a heel that lifts.” it reminds me to include my foot in my ‘leg’, to move it in all the angles he’s already taught us and have it do its bit to keep ‘me’ upright. Initially when I heard leg I’d think of the thigh because well, that’s the biggest part so that’s THE leg. On reflection it sounds absurd.. and yet… I often wonder is where I’m at now where I’ll be looking in reflection a year from now? What else is there to learn.. it seems like there is no end!!

The theme tonight is the WHOLE SELF - that includes our attitudes, our resistance, our enthusiasm and all the things we are yet to learn.. our curiosity.
