“We are wanting to change life habits.
If you do the movement quickly
you might continue doing the same as you have been doing your whole life.
It will not change if you go fast.”
Moshe drops some gold into this lesson :)
Well we’ve had a spate of standing lessons,
and now we get to put them in to a practical function…
for what we call ‘walking’.
How did you learn to walk? Can you remember how you took your first steps? Was there a guide to show you or did you imitate what you saw all the big people around you do??
It can be a crazy thing to think that we never really learn to walk, we kind of fall into the practice and develop it from those early days without really paying much attention to the WAY we walk. And yet we all have a signature way of walking, one that defines us.
What if we’ve been doing it all ‘wrong’ (so to speak, I know there’s really not a wrong way to do it).. what if there’s a BETTER way to walk that we’ve not yet learned???
Maybe bring a level of curiosity with you to tonight’s lesson and be prepared to learn some new steps :)
OH, and by the way.. Nancy reminded me last night - this weekend is the beginning of daylight savings :)
