“What we are doing now is returning missing movements to your system,
movements that actually are embedded in it from the beginning,
the progress or learning is much faster than what is possible to think.
A joint, which in the beginning feels like a piece of metal
that is impossible to move, all of a sudden has an ease that can be felt.”

I’m somebody who really struggles to sit in the ‘test’ position of this lesson. I’m one of the people Moshe points to with being pulled backward - although since starting daily lessons something has definitely shifted. Still, there’s always room for improvement.. and since preparing this lesson last night I took it upon myself to bring my awareness to bringing the thigh to the belly in sitting a different points during the day - on the tram, and again, now, as I sat reading tonight’s lesson. It feels like I’m unravelling a naughty little habit that wants to stick… one that ‘naturally’ wants to keep the distance between my belly and thigh as far as possible AWAY… which is now starting to feel odd.

During the Australian training I did two advanced courses with Jeff Haller in the USA and he was/is really big on encouraging people to push through the sit bones and then the spine through to the head… although it sounds different I think there’s a connection, and it’s certainly part of breaking this naughty little habit… for me!

Maybe there’ll be a discovery here for you too… and if not then it will be in an area that is really different for every body else - because we are all so different :)
