Yet another lesson to explore ways to breathe - there are many. A ‘technique’ Moshe brings in to some lessons is see-saw breathing, it will be explained (again) in this lesson, with a pointer to why he’s such a fan.
There’s A LOT going on with breathing, as this little video shows a small part of. Imagine the organs inside moving around as well… has me wonder… if the diaphgram acts as a little vacuum(?), then it would be pulling the organs up and then pressing them down. Other thought - if the majority of people are breathing only through their throat/nose, is it any surprise there are so many digestive problems? Well, health problems. And then, I wonder how many health issues could be resolved with whole body breathing?
A bit funny… when I was looking for video’s that illustrate the breathing process I found one that was clearly a computer voice, with an Indian accent - very cute. How biased of me to assume computer robots all speak with an English/Australian/American voice. I found it on a Russian search engine and now it’s disappeared!
Perhaps simply pre-empting tonight’s lesson could have you start thinking more about when you hold your breath during the day… those of you with pooches, imagine if your dog held its breath during movement!
See you tonight :)
