Although Moshe sounded a little frustrated with this one, repeating himself numerous times no doubt observing people interpret his words with a mixture of movements, I have no doubt Megan will talk us through this lesson with her quiet yet directive demeanour.
Twists and spirals… learning to move like those strands of DNA that we inherently are:
Learning to move from the ground, up is a useful skill to play with. Too many lose it and struggle to get their butts below their knees. Moshe assists us learn MANY different ways to move from sitting to standing, this is one of them.
You might be able to tell I had some fun with this one, the spirally ones always make me smile, they feel so natural!
I had some difficulty moving up from the left side - couldn’t work out why it was so different from the right initially and then something clicked and I could do it. Really pressing through the ground with my legs is unusual, and I can see more practice is needed to let my legs know I can count on them to get me up. Usually I pull up with the upper body, like a meercat!
