What I love about the way Moshe “thinks” or educates people about their/our bodies is his strategy to have people lie on the back and explore what’s possible while somewhat rested before inviting people to come into the same position with a different relationship to gravity.
Learning this has had me explore different ways to move on my back first… IF I can do it on my back first, it must be possible… right?
Yeah, right says my brain as I bring the practice into reality.. with gravity and sometimes grim determination.
We’ve all seen the way a frog sits really comfortably with knees bent to the side, they make it look so easy. Then when they spring and the legs go really long… it might be a good visual to have for this lesson!
The important thing is to play, to remember.. if your body is not used to these..
