Another classic Feldy lesson that starts with what could seem like a challenging ‘test’ movement which becomes a little easier through the variations.
What you are invited to explore through this one is your attitude - notice if and when it shifts between the first and last movement. The intention during the readings of these lessons is to introduce you to the inner secrets of the way Feldenkrais works which can be pretty controversial. Many practitioners opt to to keep “the Method” mysterious for people to work out for themselves along the way. For me, yeah, that’s one way to do it, it’s not the only way though.
I’m curious to learn how people can move forward with this Method through their/our own curiosity of how the human body can move through space… rather than being instructed by Moshe or a practitioner.. I read with a big “what if…” people knew this and started to explore that… what then??
As is with the practice, there’s no definite answer, MySelf.Study is an experiment.
