It could be seen as more of the same yet this could also be a completely different lesson… particularly as each variation has the ribs be a different shape. That then causes the lungs, diaphragm and shoulder girdle to behave in an unusual way.

see how high the ribs are, under the shoulder girdle? And their egg like shape that has so much space available under the armpits - a lot of room to explore!

I’ve heard “flexible chest” so many times without really thinking about what that means, or looks like.. I really had no idea. The furthest I could expand my thinking was to have the ribs move through function, then I thought to have a look to see if there were any images.

then, when I saw this, something within me changed… “ohhhh. so THAT’s what he means by a flexible chest”

There’s a lot more movement available in this are than I ever imagined, and now that I’ve seen images like this I can’t help but wonder what it would be like to have such flexibility. Can you imagine what this ability would provide for… breathing? Speaking? Digestion? Reaching, touching, connecting?

According to some spiritual quests, the chest is a space for inspiration, once the cells are open to reach capacity, then respiration becomes a breeze.

Although this information has nothing to do with today’s lesson, you might sense the direction these variations are ‘headed’.

I look forward to moving with you tonight :)
