Megan has been a great contributor to this project, and she didn’t shy away from a request to provide a few lessons for this end of phase 1 special.

She’s recorded a lesson that touches on a muscle that is rarely mentioned, yet it plays a really important role in keeping us upright, assisting us walk, run, jump amongst many other things.

The Psoas Muscle — Shaftesbury Chiropractic Dorset

Sometimes when I take my skeleton for a walk, I think of my legs moving from the top of the psoas… and it feels like I’m walking on stilts! My pelvis gets involved pushed by the glutes, and it has the feet land a little differently - in a fun way. I have no idea what it looks like, nor do I care because it feels so good.

This video explains how it’s connected with stress and trauma, I thought you might find it interesting:

Here’s the lesson, enjoy learning more about with and for your Self with Megan :)
